What We Offer
Supply and Deactivation
GJW Engineering both supplies deactivated firearms and carries out deactivation work. Items are deactivated to current Home Office specifications, certified, and supplied with the documentation the law requires.
Our stock changes as items are catalogued and photographed, so we do not publish a fixed list. Tell us what you are looking for — the platform, the period, or the purpose — and we will tell you what we have or what we can source.
The sale and transfer of deactivated firearms remains regulated. Every supply is handled in accordance with UK or Isle of Man firearms legislation, as applicable, and is subject to our usual verification checks.

What We Supply
We hold a working inventory of deactivated firearms covering historic and modern platforms. Items suit collectors, museums and exhibitions, training providers, and film and theatre productions where a live weapon is neither needed nor appropriate.
Because the inventory turns over, availability is confirmed on enquiry. Where we do not hold an item, we can often source it.

Our Service
Deactivation Work
As a Section 5 authority holder with a fully equipped armoury workshop, GJW Engineering carries out deactivation on firearms of all categories, including items many providers cannot handle.
Work is carried out to current Home Office specifications, with full certification and Proof House documentation. We handle submission to the Proof House and the transport to and from it as part of the service.
Deactivation is quoted per item following inspection, as the work required varies by platform and condition. See our Rates & Services page for how we quote, or send us the details and we will advise.
Supply and Transfer
Deactivated firearms are supplied and transferred in accordance with UK or Isle of Man firearms legislation, as applicable, and are subject to our usual verification and compliance checks. We do not supply blank-firing weapons for sale; these are available to film and theatre productions on a rental basis only.
